About Linda

Linda is a licensed chemical dependency counselor in the state of Texas.  For the past 20 years, Linda Kagey has combined her exceptional skills as a  counselor, speaker, trainer, and supervisor to become a leader in the field of addictions.  She is best known for her work with family systems in addiction and recovery.  She is also sought out for her expertise in addressing the needs of special populations such as adults who were prenatally exposed to alcohol and the dually diagnosed. “Her dynamic counseling style has touched and helped change the lives of adolescents and adults, males and females, the affluent as well as the under privileged.

Linda facilitates workshops and speaks to groups on various topics including, but not limited to: parenting, addiction, codependency, boundaries, children of addicts, enabling, communication, adolescent/adult drug and alcohol use, women and addiction and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.

Linda’s professional consulting services include: program development, team development, problem identification and resolution and program compliance.  She does professional training on topics such as motivational interviewing, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, teamwork, program compliance, documentation and nonviolent crisis intervention.
