Every human being deserves an opportunity to be free of unnecessary suffering.
I received counseling from some wonderful professionals when I was in my twenties. There was generational trauma in my family, and I know how shame and despair take hold when a family carries it. That experience is a large part of why I do this work.
I began as a volunteer, and that led to a job offer in the helping professions in California.
In session, I am there to listen. I accept my clients' experiences and views, all of them. The people I see most often are dealing with isolation and self-deception.
My work draws on family systems work, cognitive therapy and existential therapy. I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and have trained in Gorski seminars on relapse prevention.
No matter how bleak your current outlook may be, there is a path to a better future. My family and friends mean everything to me.
